Option Studies are carried out when alternative schemes, scopes and arrangements of accommodation or design solutions are identified during the early design stage, and they help the Client to compare and choose between options. An Order of Cost Estimate for each option is a vital consideration in this decision-making process. Option Studies are usually only required on complex projects or where income flows are option dependent.
